On August 31st 2009, ISE marked its 35th Anniversary, establishing itself as the longest standing contributor to subsea vehicle development.
The recently launched ISE HYSUB ROV came equipped with the first deep diving High Pressure Recovery Vessel (HPRV).
Lori Porter is an ISE Engineer and Project Manager who participates on the committee with the mandate to setting international standards and goals within the unmanned systems community.
To be delivered in the first quarter of 2009, the ROV is the first for China’s geological institution, governed directly under China’s Ministry of National Land Resource.
ISE commenced trials and testing on the China Geological Survey Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).
ISE received the contract to supply and operate two Explorer class AUVs for Natural Resources Canada.
